Holiday Spirit in October...

A few weekends ago on a warm, fall day we kicked off the holiday season for holiday photos, at least. I was finally able to secure a coveted weekend slot for a full day of private mini-sessions at the beautiful Mistletoe Christmas Tree Farm in Stow, MA. If you have not been to Mistletoe before they offer cut your own trees (while they last ,which usually isn't past Thanksgiving weekend) and the tons of pre-cut trees and decorated wreaths. Mistletoe Farm also offers visits with Santa, hot cocoa around a fire pit and a big festive barn always immediately put me in the Christmas spirit.

I love offering mini-sessions at Mistletoe as it gives me an opportunity to offer clients a real holiday feel for their photos. However, the farm is so large with a pond, fields and non-evergreen tree areas that you can also get fall foliage photos. This allows clients to have both a holiday and non-holiday feel to their photos all in one mini-session. Mistletoe Christmas Tree Farm is also one of the few locations that a photographer can rent out privately so you won't be in a crowd or have hectic masses around you during your photos. For my clients, it is just your family and me on property which gives a relaxed vibe and the freedom to roam.

This year I was blessed to meet and photograph so many amazing families during my mini-session day. It was such a pleasure to see clients, new and returning, for their photo sessions. Re-booking me for your family's photos is the greatest compliment I could receive and it means so much to me.

I have already re-booked for Mistletoe Mini-Sessions for next year and will open the limited slots by June 2025. Returning clients will be given a week of 'priority' booking before I open the mini-sessions up to new families. I hope to see you again at Mistletoe!
