A growing family's photo session...

I had the pleasure of meeting this family at Camp Sewataro this fall in Sudbury, MA for their photo session. In addition to their adorable little girl and pup, mum is expecting! While maternity photos was not the main focus of the shoot, we were able to highlight this moment in time as they prepare to become a family of 4 (well, 5 if you include family members with paws).

Camp Sewataro is a great spot for family photos as it has plenty of open space for little ones to run, play and let off some steam during the shoot. There is a beautiful pond, tall evergreens and open fields. This particular session occurred during peak foliage season which gave us plenty of golden light and leaves to play with.

As is typical with toddlers during a photo shoot, it took this little lady a bit of time to warm up to the camera (and the amazing lady behind that camera : - ) However, after a bit of time and snuggles with mom and dad, she came out of her shell and let her adorable personality shine. Having fun with your kiddos during your family shoot can bring out their best smiles and joyful moments. Mom played chase, we tossed leaves and dad did a killer superman moment with his little girl. I think you will agree that the result was a gorgeous set of photos for this family.
